Travel-oriented social network
We were instructed to create an engaging, travel-oriented, social network service by building a platform that facilitates interaction between travel organizers, tourists, agencies and equipment stores. The intention of the project was to merge a social network environment with e-commerce.
The solution
Our team of experts developed a social media application that allowed users to organise and book activities, such as canoeing, climbing, horse-riding, hiking and mountaineering, online. The activities could be organised both by agencies and by individuals.
An e-commerce platform was integrated into the web application, which not only facilitated the processing of payments, but also permitted equipment stores to market their products through the platform. In addition, staying true to social media traditions, the network featured feedback tools, reviews, commentaries and messaging.
